Job Description: As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to students with disabilities to ensure they have equal access to educational opportunities. You will work closely with students, faculty, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with disabilities, assisting with academic tasks and activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in students’ individualized plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the college community.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the independence and academic success of students with disabilities.
- Support students during exams and assessments, ensuring they have the necessary accommodations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and support services.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role or a related field.
- Understanding of various disabilities and the ability to tailor support to individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and other support staff.
- Relevant qualification in disability support or a related field is preferred.
