Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide holistic support to students.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, adjusting teaching methods and strategies as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive and respectful learning environment, promoting a sense of belonging and self-confidence among students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or relevant field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities, along with effective strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
