Job Description
Are you an experienced and dedicated Nursery Nurse with a passion for early years education? Our welcoming primary school in East London is seeking a Nursery Nurse to join their inclusive and supportive team starting from September 2024!
Responsibilities:
Work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Plan and deliver activities that support the 7 areas of learning and development
Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure a safe and stimulating environment
Perform observations and assessments to track children’s progress and development
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children
Collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain an engaging learning environment
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and caregivers
Requirements:
Qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Proven experience working within the EYFS
Knowledge and experience in the 7 areas of learning and development within early years
Experience conducting risk assessments and observations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
Safeguarding:
Complete Classroom Services are highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. You will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau) and undergo due diligence checks on social media use.
All school-based staff have the responsibility for promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children. All school staff should be aware of the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy and work in accordance with this document at all times.
