Job Description

Are you a versatile and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in various supportive mainstream primary schools across Newham? We are seeking experienced Supply Teaching Assistants to join our primary schools and work across different key stages, starting immediately!

Responsibilities:

Provide support across different key stages, adapting to the needs of each class
Assist in delivering tailored education plans for small groups and one-to-one sessions
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Collaborate with class teachers and other staff to enhance learning experiences
Support students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills
Requirements:
Previous experience working 1:1 with children with autism and ADHD
Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs

Complete Classroom Services are highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. You will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau) and undergo due diligence checks on social media use.

All school-based staff have the responsibility for promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children. All school staff should be aware of the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy and work in accordance with this document at all times.
