Position: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Various Primary Schools Across Redbridge
Job Type: Temporary/On-call

Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work across different primary schools, supporting students and teachers in various year groups. This is a flexible, on-call position, ideal for individuals looking to make a positive impact in education while accommodating their own schedule.


Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
Prepare classroom materials and resources.
Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities.
Help maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour.
Adapt to different classroom settings and school cultures.

Experience working with children in an educational setting (voluntary or paid).
A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in various schools and year groups.
A proactive and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
