Salary: £35,368.00-£55,626.00 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as the Head of Art.

Position Overview: As the Head of Art, you will play a crucial role in shaping and leading the Art department. You will be responsible for fostering a creative and inspiring learning environment, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and contributing to the overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

· Curriculum Leadership: Develop and lead the Art curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and encourages creativity and innovation.

· Team Management: Manage and support a team of dedicated Art teachers, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

· Student Engagement: Inspire students to excel in Art, promoting a love for the subject through engaging lessons, extracurricular activities, and participation in local and national art events.

· Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain effective assessment and feedback mechanisms to monitor student progress, ensuring that teaching standards are consistently high.

· Resource Management: Manage departmental resources efficiently, ensuring access to appropriate materials and facilities to support effective teaching and learning.

· Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, the local community, and external partners, promoting the value of arts education.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in Art or a related field.

· Proven experience as a successful Art teacher, with a track record of achieving excellent results.

· Leadership or management experience within an educational setting.
