Key Responsibilities:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND in the classroom.
Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Help students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
Encourage independence and self-confidence in students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEND.
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND is preferred but not essential.
A positive and patient attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
