We are partnered with a secondary school in Southwark who are seeking an enthusiastic Science teacher to join their dynamic team. Their department offers GCSE double and triple science, along with A level and BTec Applied Science at Key Stage 5. They welcome specialists in chemistry, biology, or physics.
The Role
· Deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons that inspire a love of learning.
· Set high expectations to motivate and challenge students to reach their full potential.
· Plan and teach differentiated lessons aligned to the curriculum.
· Use data to inform teaching, provide feedback, and promote progress.
· Manage behaviour to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.
· Collaborate with colleagues and participate in network-wide initiatives.
· Engage with students and families to build a strong school community.
Qualifications
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Degree in Science or a related subject.
Skills and Experience
· Commitment to raising student attainment.
· Understanding of teaching pedagogy and subject mastery.
· Effective behaviour management skills.
· Knowledge of the national secondary education system and curriculum.
