Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and passionate SEND Teachers to join our educational institution located in the borough of Brent, London. As an SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring their academic and personal development.
Responsibilities:
– Create and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
– Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized learning strategies.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development.
– Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
– Maintain accurate records of students’ achievements, behaviors, and attendance.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
– Specialization or experience in teaching students with special educational needs and disabilities.
– Strong knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language disorders.
– Ability to differentiate teaching methods and materials to meet individual students’ needs.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
